Dr. Kazantzi is a Professor at the Department of Business Administration in the University of Thessaly, Greece. She received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, USA. She has a Master of Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Thessaloniki, Greece, both in chemical engineering. She worked on several projects in the USA sponsored by federal and state agencies, as well as by the industry. In Greece she worked as a process engineer, project manager and environmental consultant. She is also a visiting scholar at Texas A&M University, USA, and at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe, Germany, as well as a research fellow at Qatar University in Doha. She was awarded a number of fellowships and awards for her research work. Her interests lie in the broader area of Production Systems, Supply Chain and Operations Management.
